The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Retail Security Supervisor who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and passion for the security industry, with a strong desire to make a difference. 

You will be responsible for providing security team leadership at our Macarthur Square Site, supporting the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building key tenant familiarisation and relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring the safety and security of the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrating proactive security awareness.  

This is a Full Time role: Sunday: 9.00-5.00pm, Monday-Thursday: 7.00am-3.00pm

Key Responsibilities:

To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:

  • Working closely with other site and regional managers to achieve a high level of client satisfaction
  • Coaching, mentoring supporting and performance management of security team members with the objective of building a high-performing team
  • Liaising with local Law Enforcement Authorities and other identified stakeholders in relation to security issues, as they impact the Centre and its surroundings
  • Production of monthly reports and KPI scorecards in line with client and Assetlink
  • Acting on any incidents/or injuries, near misses, equipment faults, complaints and information that is security-related
  • Effectively manage labour costs such as rosters, leave and overtime to the agreed schedule as per the site’s P&L and company standard
  • Establishing systems, policies and procedures knowledge base designed to ensure consistently high service performance and seamless support is provided

Role Requirements:

  • Prior experience in supervising/managing staff
  • Prior experience in working around licenced venues
  • Experience in retail security
  • Current NSW Security Licence (Cert II)
  • Current Advanced First Aid Certificate (plus current CPR qualification)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate presentation 
  • Ability to work as a part of the Security Team and individually
  • High-level problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Reliability and access to own transport is essential
