Assetlink’s Purpose

Established in 1993, Assetlink is an Australian owned facilities services provider with over 2,500 people serving over 1200 customers nationwide.  Specialising in the provision of standalone cleaning and security services or a tailored integrated solution, Assetlink support businesses to manage their assets and operations in the commercial, retail, aviation, health & aged care and mining sectors.

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Part Time Retail Security Officer to join our team at Rouse Hill Town Centre in Rouse Hill, NSW 2155 - who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and are passionate about the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference. 

The Role:

You will be responsible for providing security service at our client's retail site, supporting all the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building key tenant familiarisation and relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring the safety and security for the site, management of emergency situations and demonstrated pro-active security awareness.  

The roster for this position is:

Monday - 1000 to 1800
Thursday - 1830 to 2230
Saturday - 2000 to 0400

The role is to commence immediately!

Role Requirements:

To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:

• Current NSW Full Security Licence
• Apply First Aid Certificate
• Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
• Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
• The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery of which comes under your control
• The ability to complete reports using various platforms
• Excellent presentation, well-groomed and corporate appropriate
• High level problem solving skills
• Ability to respond to emergency situations
• Valid work rights in Australia
