About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially focused National Estimating Manager to lead and drive the growth of our business across Australia and New Zealand, spanning multiple sectors including Retail, Aviation, Education and Commercial Buildings.

This role is a critical component in winning new opportunities and achieving business growth.   The role works closely with both the Business Development and Operations teams to develop fully costed, operationally aligned proposals that meet client requirements.

The National Estimating Manager analyses business data, engages with stakeholders and subject matter experts, and creates solutions that enable accurate, competitive and sustainable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Business Development team in preparing estimates, tenders, and quotations for bids.
• Scope opportunities with the Business Development team and provide fully costed proposals that reflect operational capability and delivery capacity.
• Ensure transparency, efficiency, and collaboration across all stakeholders throughout the tender process.
• Analyse business needs and data to support problem solving and solution creation.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business model, cost structure, and operational delivery capability.
• Design, manage, and review pricing models and costing tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate subject matter experts across the business to develop multiservice proposals.
• Support and validate major proposals developed at branch level.
• Manage and maintain the underlying data models of costing tools.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven Senior experience in large scale estimating, pricing, or commercial roles within Cleaning, Security, Facilities Management, or service a based industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience in developing pricing models, cost structures, and multiservice proposals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of operational delivery capability and resource planning.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently.
