Week 1: Fri - 0600 to 1800, Sat - 0600 to 1800, Sun - 0600 to 1800
Week 2: Wed - 0600 to 1800, Thu - 0600 to 1800, Mon - 0600 to 1800, Tue - 0600 to 1800

What You’ll Do

This is more than a security role, it's a position of responsibility, coordination, and impact.

As a Control Room Officer, you will be the central point of contact for security operations, using technology, communication, and critical thinking to support the safety and security of people, property, and assets.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring CCTV, alarm systems, and other security technologies to identify and respond to incidents in real time
  • Coordinating and communicating with on-site security personnel, emergency services, clients, and stakeholders
  • Managing access control systems and monitoring site activity across multiple locations
  • Responding promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and client requests
  • Maintaining accurate incident reports, operational logs, and records using digital reporting systems
  • Providing professional customer service and support to clients, tenants, visitors, and contractors
  • Escalating security, safety, and operational issues in accordance with established procedures
  • Supporting emergency response activities and business continuity operations
  • Maintaining a high standard of professionalism, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Control Room experience is essential and preferably in a retail environment.

This role requires sound judgement, strong situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while making decisions that contribute to the safety and security of our clients and communities.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed with Assetlink, you’ll need:

  • A valid NSW Full Security Licence
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day roster
  • Full working rights in Australia
