The Role:

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Head Chef looking for Full Time FIFO employment working at one of our Mining Villages in the Perenjori region, WA 6620!

This position is FIFO Ex Perth on a requires the flexibility to work a swing of up to 8 days on, 6 days off roster commencing ASAP.

Role Requirements

  • Trade Certificate, Cert III or Cert IV in commercial cookery
  • Extensive experience in large high volume kitchen environments
  • Valid C class WA Driver’s License
  • Current National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate & Senior First Aid (Highly regarded)
  • Previous experience working within a similar remote location (highly regarded)
  • Extensive previous facility management experience with proven success in managing complex operations and delivering strong financial outcomes
  • Previous experience managing a team and performance management
  • Proven ability to engage and inspire people to deliver their best
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and time-sensitive environment
  • Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol tests (LABDAS)
  • Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal
